Road to Vista Ridge Ski Area

Happy New Year to all our friends and family! We had a low key New Years Eve and decided that instead of going out to dinner we would hit the local ski place. Aniela is still too young for skiing so we got a babysitter and spent the afternoon getting our ski legs back. Although not the largest of places we were very impressed with the skiing for such a small town and look forward to going more often..maybe with one more layer of clothes on! It's very convenient to have a place to ski right in town and we are definitely going to take advantage of it.

Last night, once Aniela went to bed, we had our own little feast with Swiss fondue, smoked salmon, and Charlie did an amazing job grilling up a couple of lobster tails. Over dinner we reminisced about 2007 and realized that every year since we have been married one major event has occurred. Last year it was our big move to Canada! It's so exciting to think what our next big adventure will be and anticipate all the things to come in 2008!
