Sunny Days...

Anielas first ride in the Jeep...with the
top down and doors off. She loved it!
Things have been pretty quite around here lately, hence the lack of posts. We have been enjoying the warm weather with plenty of outdoor activities. I don't think there is a day that goes by that Aniela doesn't request to go to the park. She has definitely improved her playground skills since last summer and can pretty much do everything on her own. She has even mastered the little rock climbing wall...which made daddy proud!

Aside from the daily park visit we have also been keeping busy with our yard. The landlord didn't plant any landscaping around the house, except for one tree in the front yard so I put together some flowering pots and Aniela planted her own sunflower seeds as well.I didn't know how many seeds she put in the pot or if any even made it in there when we were planting. As you can see from the picture she did a good job! I may even have to pull some out since there are so many seedlings coming up!

And then there is mowing....the one thing that we do have plenty of is grass. Charlie of course counts down the days till he can get his John Deere out. Aniela also gets to go for a little ride when daddy's all done...she loves it just as much as he does! Her other new love is the sandbox that our neighbors graciously gave to us. Aniela's buddies, Quinten and Thomas, are getting a bigger one so they gave their old one to us. The only thing that saves me from a trip to the park is playing out in the sandbox!

All in all we are doing great and anticipate our trip to Banff and Jasper at the end of the month. As for me and the new baby..so far so good. No big news to report. I am now 17 weeks along and we can't wait for our ultrasound on the 16th. Right now the poll of whether it's a boy or girl is 50/50. We'll find out soon enough...stay tuned!
