Happy 6th Birthday Aniela

Our baby girl turns 6 today!

Aniela, we are so proud of the little girl you've become. You are compassionate, caring, creative and have such determination. Even if you are scared to do something you will give it a try, even if it's through a tear streaked face and all. And boy are you a hard worker! While other kids would pass on helping out you actually get upset if not given a task while we are working. Whether it's cleaning up or doing yard work you are right there ready and willing to get your hands dirty. We love you so much and wish you all the happiness in the world!

On Sunday Aniela had a little park party with a few school friends and neighbors. The rain held out and we had the park all to ourselves so it turned out to be a great day. Granny and Grandpa were their to help out and celebrate with some yummy cake. Later on in the day Babcia and Dziadek stopped by when they got back in town to drop off a beautiful new jewelry box. Aniela loved it and had to organize her jewelry right away.

Then today Aniela woke up to a brand new bike! She was still riding the one from her third birthday. Needless to say she was in need of an upgrade. We decided to go a little bigger so it lasts a long time. Aniela said it was a little scary to ride because it's so much bigger but we know with some practice she will be tearing through the neighborhood real soon.

For lunch Granny and Grandpa came to drop off a gift and take Aniela to Sonic. She loved having a one-on-one lunch date. And loves her new clothes that come with matching doll outfits!

After school Aniela had fun having a play date with her friend Taya and took her new bike for another spin.

We finished the day with a family dinner at Monicals pizza, more birthday cake and of course Charlie had to get his birthday spankings in along with a pinch to grow an inch.  Whew...what a fun day of celebrating!

Cake, cake and more cake. Gotta love a birthday like that ... especially since she has "Watts" blood in her veins ... and you know how much the Watts love their cake. Can't ever have too much.

Speaking of which, when's the next cake occasion?
