This past weekend we went to Edmonton for a shopping excursion. Charlie needed to purchase a Tux for the Gala this coming Saturday and since we had a list of things we needed anyway it ended up working out
great. Best of all we were able to stay with our good friends Chelsea,
Dayven and Wyatt. They just moved to Edmonton from Nashville and were so kind to let us stay with them....
despite only being in the house for a week. We had so much fun catching up on old times and filled the weekend with shopping, great meals, and a night in the
hot tub. The kids also had fun playing together and
Aniela was in seventh heaven exploring
Wyatts collection of toys. The kiddos even had their first bath together and Wyatt
definitely won the splashing contest! It'll be so nice living closer together and
having friends to stay with on our trips into Edmonton. Thanks for the great weekend...we look forward to the fun times ahead!
As for our shopping list...the trip was a success and Charlie now owns a tux,
Aniela a new table and chair set as well as her first backpack. She has been on a backpack craze since "Dora the Explorer" has one. So we finally gave in and got her one. It'll come in handy on our upcoming trip at Thanksgiving where she will be able to haul around her own snacks and toys...such a big girl already!

Now she needs some more dishes, etc.
You guys look great- maybe Aniela needs to have a tea party... I will have to see what I can do about that!!!
