Do Widzenia Dzia Dzia

We saw Dzia Dzia off today and although there were tears from me and a lot of "bye bye" kisses from Aniela we are counting down the days till thanksgiving when we will see all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins again!

Dzia Dzia didn't leave without a bang though. Yesterday, on his last day in town, Charlie took the grandpas out to the mine site. Since just the boys went they were able to get a tour in the shop and see some of the big trucks close up. Something I haven't even done yet!!

When they came back Charlie convinced my dad to go out fishing one more time. The fish were biting this time around because Dzia Dzia caught 3 fish and Charlie caught 1. All trophy sized Walleye! Charlies was the biggest measuring 26 inches in length!

Then we had an early birthday celebration for Charlie while Dzia Dzia was still here. Grandpa cooked up some mouth watering Alberta steak and at the last minute we fried up a Walleye fillet. And if you ask Aniela the cake was her favorite part! She couldn't even wait for the candles to get blown out before her fingers lunged for some sugary goodness. Definitely a Watts!!

Thanks for visiting Dzia Dzia we wish you could have stayed longer and continued the fun week with Maggie and Grandpa Tod. Aniela was spoiled rotten and will miss waking up to you getting her every morning.
