Keepin Busy

We have been keeping busy this past week. During the weekend we had our friend Suzy and Autumn over for dinner since Suzy's husband was out of town. It was nice for the girls to get some play time in. They had a blast chasing each other around. We could barely hear ourselves speak with all the screeches and squeals going on around us....typical girls!!



Then on Saturday we went over to Larry and Darlene's house for a fundraising car wash. Its that time of year again to raise money for United Way. Charlie had to wash one of the Finning Cars while Larry, the head of the dealership here in Fort Mac, had to wash Charlies car! It was fun times and all the guys ended up chipping in. We ended that night with pizza and beer at a local restaurant. Which always tastes good after a hard day of car washing, even though it was just the men washing the cars. Watching the guys though was exhausting!!!


Sunday I went on my long run with my neighbor Diana. We have only one weekend left before our 30K and after 2 hours of running the option of doing the 15K is looking better and better!


Lastly, after work Charlie always looks forward to coming home and spending time with his baby girl. It's like a playground when he gets home. Between hide and seek, tag, tickling wars, and "who do you love?...Dada!!" accompanied with maracas (note:watch the video attached) it's no wonder the kid passes out like a light when bedtime comes around.



So that's the scoop with us lately. This weekend we head to Edmonton for some shopping and to visit our friends Dayven, Chelsea, and Wyatt. They just moved this past week from Nashville and we can't wait to see them. Stay tuned for more....
