The Sun Came Back Out!!

Us Arizonians aren't used to 2 days of cloudiness and rain! O.K. so were far from being real Arizonians but these last few years we have been spoiled with practically 365 sunny days a year. To tell you the truth it was so nice having a change of pace in the weather and hearing the rain fall outside. It gave me an excuse to stay in and do things around the house. Aniela had a different idea as she hinted at wanting the sun to come out by putting on her sunglasses!

Today though the clouds parted and the sun came out warming up the temperatures again and allowing us to have some fun outside.

After dinner Charlie took Aniela outside to play with her new favorite ball. She ran around the whole yard and even learned how to kick the ball all by herself. Who knows we may have a future soccer player on our hands. Once Aniela went to bed it was still bright as can be out so I finally went out for a nice run and when I got home Charlie took his mountain bike and hit some trails.

We really are in an ideal area where we can just step out of our back yard and get onto the trails surrounded by Douglas Fur and Birch trees. We can't wait till winter to try out cross country skiing!
