Our Baby is Growing Up...

Aniela is almost 22 months and is such a little young lady already. Her favorite things as of late are helping mom cook. I pull up a chair for her to stand on so she can be right in on the action. Just the other day she was "helping" me make potato salad. Such a big helper...can't say she was thrilled about eating it though! Her other favorite thing is dancing. However not to the music you would think. She loves hard rock, especially AC/DC, who would have thought! Here's a little video of her dance skills...



In other news... we had another great weekend of skiing. Charlies new skis finally came in and he just had to try them out. We got a babysitter and hit the slopes this morning. It took him a few runs to get the feel of the new skis and then he was skiing like a pro! I couldn't keep up! Check him out in action...


We also got Aniela's "new" skis cleaned up, purchased a new pair of boots for her, and just couldn't resist taking her skiing. So after nap time we went back out to Vista Ridge and Aniela skied for the very first time! We had her go down some very short runs in the kids learning area and wanted to make sure it was a good first experience. She looked so cute and did great! We are so proud of our little girl!




To end the weekend today was a special day of spoiling for me! I woke up to breakfast in bed, a morning of skiing with my husband, an afternoon of skiing with my daughter, take out sushi for dinner, and cake to end the day! And no it's not like this everyday although don't get me wrong I am very spoiled...rather it's my birthday and what a day! I am so blessed to have health, happiness, an amazing husband, and the best baby girl. Thank you to all my family and friends for your thoughts, wishes, and "American Idol" worthy birthday serenades!
