Sushi...

Charlie and I love Sushi but we have never taken the kids, figuring their palates are not quiet there to even want to try the rolls. However when we got a craving for it Friday night we figured it's as good time as any to introduce them to it. It's always good to expose them to different foods anyway and at least we would know if they liked it. They had a great time and loved the kids chopsticks that helped them pinch the ends together.

Charles is by far our most adventurous eater and tried it all. He really loved the edamame and salmon sashimi.  Aniela also enjoyed the edamame and cucumber roll. She of course devoured the side of white rice we ordered. She loves her rice with soy sauce. Then poor Zofia was just not  happy with the selections. She picked the cucumbers out of the cucumber roll and stuck to a bowl of rice. It was rather late so that didn't help the situation as Zofia can be extra crabby when she is tired. At the end the kiddos received a complimentary lollipop which of course won them over.

It pretty much went as I expected and after typing up this blog I all of a sudden have another craving for sushi!

Looks yummy (to Granny)! Fun time discovering new foods with the kids. Grandpa and Granny have been eating lots of fish, just not RAW! Ha!

Miss you!
