We Finally Camped....

Well we finally got a chance to go camping! Last Friday we made a split decision to head out to Shady Grove since the weather was cooperating. Sneaking up on mother nature and not letting her know our plans totally worked...it was the best camping weather anyone could have asked for!  Unfortunately due to such late notice no other family could join us but we had a great time nonetheless. It was nice to be out with just our little family. Thinking back Charlie and I realized we had never camped on our own before and it actually worked out great since we had so much maintenance work to get done anyway. Now the next time the weather looks nice we will be ready for any guests who can join us.

We kept things low key and went out for breakfast at a local restaurant in Knoxville.

Since the fun rock pile is now gone we kept these big logs from a fallen tree and made some stepping logs out of them
