Spring is finally here...

My three amigos...they just won't stop growing!

I think Spring is here to stay. We were teased earlier in the month with a few 80 degree days then it got really cold again with nights dipping down to freezing temps. Between that and the tremendous amount of rain that has left so many homes and businesses along the Illinois river completely flooded it's been a crazy spring. We luckily stayed high and dry as our sump pump worked around the clock.

But I think there is a light to the dreary/cold weather since these last few days have been beautiful and the forecast shows warm days ahead.

Charlie has also been on RLO this week and so we had time to put up our "new" swing-set. The neighbor across the street didn't want it anymore so he named a price that we couldn't pass up. We never thought we would get a playset since our back yard has a good slope to it. However the swing-set was just the right size and Charlie worked his magic on leveling it. We have a few things to touch up on it and it'll be as good as new. The kids got to play on it for the first time today and of course they had a blast. It's going to be such a great thing to have because the kids spend most of their time outdoors.
