Charlie has been traveling tons lately. Since the end of August he has been to Tucson, Az, followed by Brazil, and on Monday he left for Mauritania, Africa for 10 days. We are missing him tons and I know it's even harder on him to be away from home and the kids. His trips are going to continue into December but at least after this Africa one we will have him home for more than 48 hours until he's off again. So while away Charlie requested more blog posts so he can keep up with us at home.
Aniela's soccer season came to an end and she loved it so much that we will definitely be doing it again next year. They even finished it off with a win!

Zoe is growing like a weed and is in the exersaucer now. She likes it for about 10 minutes and then she is done with it. She is getting smarter and knows if she cries hard enough mommy will come get her! I also put her in our umbrella stroller for the first time yesterday. She thought it was pretty cool to sit facing forward.
Charles is keeping busy keeping me busy! He is always on the go and tries to keep up with Aniela. He is still in speech therapy and has improved so much since January. He has gone from only uttering a few somewhat understandable words to full blown sentences now, albeit they aren't always clear. Nonetheless we are very proud of his progress so far. The little stinker is also vetoing naps lately. I am so not ready for that. Somedays he goes all day without one and then on other days he will crash in random place, like my bed while having quiet time watching cartoons or on the couch in the living room. I personally don't care where he takes his nap just as long as he has one!
He fell asleep here while playing the i-touch...which I removed before taking the pictures
I think this is the last summer in a baby swing for Charles...getting too big too fast!
Fall is also in the air. I love fall! The leaves are turning, the air is crisp and filled with the scent of bonfires, and all the fall decorations are making there way out. We head to the park whenever we can to enjoy the gorgeous weather and go for bike rides almost once a day. The kids love their bikes. Aniela is a pro without her training wheels now and Charles zooms around on his trike trying to keep up.
All that practice on our rock climbing wall has come in handy for Aniela
