I did not drop off the face of the earth! We just got back from a trip to Peoria. Charlie had some business in town so we decided to pack up the car and head down with him. After 26 hours in 2 days with kids in tow we made it and every minute was worth it so we could visit our family. We are especially thankful to have met our new nephew Szymon. My sister was able to schedule his Baptism during our trip so we could be there for the special occasion as his Godparents. We also were glad to see Granny since she is down and out with a knee injury. There was lots of catching up, eating out at our favorite restaurants , and of course shopping. It's always fun to shop knowing we have a big truck to haul things back up! The weather was gorgeous but I have to admit I could have done without the humidity....frizzy hair, clothes sticking to my skin, and feeling like you need to shower again when you step outside. I have definitely adapted to a drier climate. Now it's time to get back to reality. The school season is here and Aniela starts preschool and dance class for the first time this week. Thanks everyone for a fun trip, we miss you already!

We're missing the babies terribly. Any chance of you guys coming south to Calgary?
