Well we had a great Christmas dinner and loved implementing poppers as our new tradition. We picked it up last year from fellow Canadian friends. Aniela especially loved wearing the crown at dinner and playing with the toy that was inside each popper (although you can't tell from the pictures...she is not into smiling for the camera lately)! Charles and Finley even wore the crown for a picture of their first Canadian

Christmas!
Each year I go to the stores and pick up a few packages of the
poppers to stock up so we can continue the tradition for as long as possible when we leave Canada.

We have also had the most beautiful weather. It has been cold but the sun has shined almost everyday so we have been trying to soak up the vitamin D with skiing, sledding, and snow shoeing. With Granny and Grandpa in town Charlie and I were able to get a ski date in! It was nice to get my ski legs back. It has also been nice to get a chance to

ski with
Aniela for the first time...she is getting better and better each time she goes out! I am also taking advantage of the extra help and getting some one on one time with her. We had so much fun going sledding the other day and flying off the slide at the park. It's amazing how much faster those things are when it's -30 out! Then Charlie took Granny snowshoeing this morning at -40! They had a blast and came back looking like icicles themselves!
