It has been months since Charlie has traveled so go figure this business trip ends up falling on his birthday. We sure will miss spoiling him and giving him 34 spankings today. He didn't leave without a celebration though. On Saturday we invited the grandparents over for dinner and cake. We succeeded in stuffing ourselves with Charlies favorites: BBQ hot wings and of course cake. There were a few other things on the menu but that was the majority of our well balanced meal that night...ha! It was yummy. Granny and Grandpa were also babysitting cousins Rebecca and Patrick so they joined in on the festivities and made the party that much more fun for the kiddos. Gotta love cousins to play with!

Charlie's trip to Nevada is not  long, he'll be back on Thursday, and then the hunting season begins for him this weekend. Hopefully he gets himself a birthday deer.  Wishing you a Happy Birthday Charlie! We love you with all our hearts.
