Ivy Swim Team 2014...

Aniela and Charles ready for their first swim meet of the season
The kiddos hanging out at the pool

Club swimming started up this week and Aniela and Charles were so excited to start the season. They jumped right in and didn't waste any time getting the basics down. Aniela is definitely in her element and just loves this sport. It's also amazing what just one year of growing has done for Charles. At the beginning of last year he could barely swim and struggled throughout the season to swim his 25 meters during a meet, having to use the lane lines for frequent breaks. This year however he already can swim half  the lane without stopping. I am excited to see his progress as the season moves forward. Of course with practices everyday and meets twice a week the kids will get plenty of opportunity to sharpen and learn their skills.
Practice that kicking
Happy swimmer

Fun Friday's...Charles jumping off the diving board while trying to catch a marshmallow

Zofia is having a blast playing in the kiddy pool while her brother and sister practice. She has changed so much from last year as well and loves the adult pool. Last year she was so afraid to get into it and had a choke hold around our necks when we would finally coax her in. This year, with her floaties on, she barely wants us to help her. She is Miss Independent which means mommy can lounge at the edge of the pool, with a drink and just enjoy watching the kiddos swim and have fun. Life is good!

Swimming sure wears you out
