Charlie and Aniela attended the Daddy/ Daughter dance again this year. They had so much fun getting all dressed up for their special night. Before the dance they met up other dad's/daughters for a dinner at Avanti's and continued on to the dance where they enjoyed ice-cream sundaes and of course dancing the night away. I have a feeling it's a lot more daughters running around dancing together and the dad's hanging out in bunches talking about the weather, sports and making fun of each-others dance skills! Although Aniela swore Charlie danced the night away with her. For his little girl I believe it. When they got home Aniela couldn't wait to show me the teddy bear that she received. Each little girl got to "build-a-bear". Before sewing it up the Dad's were to write a special note to put inside it. That way, later on when Aniela is all grown up, she can open her bear and read the special note. Such a great idea. I know she is already anticipating her next dance. Although next time around Charlie may have 2 little girls to take!

Makes a mom proud to see her little boy grow up to be such a wonderful father! Aniela, you look beautiful. It won't be too long before some young man takes you to a dance and your daddy will have to stay home and worry about you!!! Ha!
