We welcomed in the New Year with Babcia and Dziadek, a big tub of fondue and champagne! It was a fun night of eating, drinking, and watching Despicable Me 2. We stayed up long enough to watch the ball drop in New York and then we called it a night. Oh how times have changed from the days of going out on the town. It was perfect though and we wouldn't have it any other way!

So far the New Year has been a cold and wintery one. We got hit with 6 inches of snow last night and it's still going. Tomorrow they are calling for record breaking temps of -45! Oh how it brings me back to our winters in Fort McMurray. Thankfully the kids don't start school till Tuesday so we just plan on laying low and hibernating.
