Charles loves being outside looking for anything that creeps and crawls. Spiders, worms, frogs, bugs of any kind. The other day he spotted a snake in the front lawn. Charlie put on some gloves and got a bucket to catch it. The kids took turns feeling the scales. A few minutes later Charles spotted a frog so we added the frog in with the snake. I think both the snake and frog were so scared for their lives they didn't even notice the other and were concentrating on how to get out. The kids had a blast watching for a bit then we let the critters go. I love seeing how such little things as a snake and frog make the kids super excited. Heck Charlie and I thought it was pretty cool too.
