Aniela is a few days away from her first day of kindergarten and I haven't blogged in forever! It seems to be a recurring theme lately. But between 3 kids and enjoying the last of summer break who has the time! Here's what we've been up to:
Playdates...
We've been meeting weekly with our CAT playgroup and even made a trip to the Children's Discovery Museum in Bloomington, Il. The kids had a blast and we will definitely be going back.
Swimming...
Zoe has been joining us at the pool lately. Aniela is becoming a stronger swimmer and Charles has built up enough courage to go off the diving board!
Biking...
With cousins and friends learning to ride without training wheels Aniela was motivated to do the same. Yesterday Charlie had a chance to work with her and within an hour she was doing it! A little more practice and she will be zooming around like a pro.
Boating...
We all went boating with some friends the other week and Aniela had a blast tubing. We were surprised she wasn't more intimidated by it. She also loved jumping in the river and just swimming around. Charles preferred staying on the boat with mommy. While Charlie tried wake boarding for the first time.
Celebrating...
We celebrated Grandpas birthday on the 4th. It was a fun day with family. The kids even went fishing at the lake in Granny and Grandpas neighborhood. They had a blast catching fish that would bite each time a line was cast out..so fun!
Building...
My father and Charlie have been busy the last few weekends working on a deer stand at our land. It looks more like a tower! When my dad builds something he goes big and the stand is no exception. It is so nice I may even try my hand at hunting this year.
Growing....
Zoe turned 3 months on the 11th. She is such a good baby and so sweet....we are all in love with her and wish she would stop growing so fast. She is "talking" up a storm now and gives you the biggest smiles and even little laughs too.

What a summer filled with so much fun...learning to swim, bike, tube, fish, etc.!!! Baby Zoe is learning to tell us all about it, eh? Glad we could share in such terrific moments. Happy 8th Anniversary!

Fun to see the pics. Looks like a great summer! Wow, that is some deluxe deer stand!! Does it have A/C and internet connection?? Wouldn't surprise me. Charlie knows how to do it up right! :)
WOW that is quite a deer stand! I think you should totally go hunting. I have been for years and it is such a good time(and very quiet)....
