October Happenings....

As always the month slipped away from me. Here are some October highlights:

Aniela competed in her first official USA Swim Meet for PAWW swim team.  She was nervous but did great and swam her best. Now that she has some times down she will have her own personal goals to work towards.

Warm ups before the meet. Aniela is in the very first lane. Closest

Charles lost his very first tooth! It had been loose for some time and was on the verge of falling out so one night when Dziadek was over for dinner he tied a string around it and yanked it out. Charles was brave and didn't even flinch. I think he was just excited to lose his first tooth.

Then just this week Charles kindergarten class celebrated the 50th day of school with a Sock Hop. I was able to volunteer and loved capturing the fun.

And I wonder how his pants get holes in them so quickly

Speaking of socks. I have my own personal sock folder. Charles has become a pro at sorting and folding socks. He actually doesn't mind helping me out and I love the help!

This month my sister Danuta, and her family came into town as well. We had a fun day hanging out and Zofia got her very own personal lesson on how to make homemade spaghetti noodles. Aunt Danuta, who has a house full of boys, was loving some girl time.

We also visited Grandma Mullen this month. She unfortunately has had some bad falls recently and was placed in a nursing home to recover and get her strength back. We enjoyed our visit and were glad to see she was happy and enjoying all the social interactions she gets at the nursing home.

And that pretty much sums up this month so far. Halloween is just around the corner and the kiddos can't wait!
